“Let’s Unlearn Sex Ed”

Sexual health is an extremely broad topic, and condensing that down into something interesting to read instead of a novel of facts and statistics is a dauntingly difficult task. ‘Sexuality’ itself includes much more than just physical sex, it is emotional connections to other human beings, and includes respecting and recognising the sexual rights and responsibilities we all share. The ‘health’ part includes making responsible, informed decisions to ensure your sexual wellbeing is maintained. There’s nothing sexier than safety, and as an adult, having sex comes with responsibilities if it is to be done in a safe, sane, and respectful manner. Obviously, I’m not a replacement for your healthcare professional, however this is an easy to ready and digestible guide that covers the basics of enjoying safe sex, keeping yourself safe, and learning the Sex Ed you certainly didn’t get in high school!
