Sportsheets Signature Midnight Muse Barrel Gag

Sometimes saying less can make the moment considerably more intense.

The Signature Midnight Muse Barrel Gag from Sportsheets is designed for consensual power exchange, sensory play and restraint scenes where restricting articulate speech becomes part of the experience.

Its smooth black silicone barrel creates a fuller sensation in the mouth, with a substantial 3.7 cm diameter suited to users who are comfortable with gag play. The cylindrical shape rests horizontally between the teeth, creating noticeable oral fullness while interfering with clear speech and allowing non-verbal sounds to remain part of communication.

Visually, this barrel gag makes its intentions very clear. Matte black silicone pairs with sleek faux leather-style straps and polished silver-tone hardware for a sophisticated, commanding finish that coordinates beautifully with cuffs, restraints and other pieces from the Midnight Muse collection.

An adjustable buckle closure lets you customise the fit around the head, accommodating circumferences of approximately 43 to 61 cm. Once correctly fitted, the strap should sit securely without excessive pressure against the face or head.

Because any gag can interfere with normal communication and may affect breathing if incorrectly positioned, gag play should always include active supervision, agreed non-verbal safety signals and immediate removal if the wearer experiences distress.

The smooth silicone contact surface is designed for oral use and can be washed after play, while the faux leather-style strap can be wiped clean.

Whether you're exploring dominant and submissive dynamics, expanding an existing restraint collection or looking for a silicone gag with a fuller, more substantial feel, Midnight Muse brings together confident styling, adjustable fit and the psychological intensity of surrendering the ability to speak clearly.

How to Use

Discuss boundaries, safety signals and how the gag will be removed before play begins.

Position the barrel horizontally between the teeth without forcing the jaw excessively wide.

Adjust the buckle so the gag feels secure but not painfully tight.

The strap should sit firmly without restricting circulation or placing excessive pressure against the head.

Use a clear non-verbal safety signal, such as repeated hand tapping, dropping a held object or another agreed gesture.

Check in regularly throughout use, as jaw muscles may tire over time.

Safety Information

Never leave a gagged person unattended.

Remove the gag immediately if the wearer experiences breathing difficulty, panic, nausea, significant jaw pain, numbness, dizziness or other distress.

Do not use a gag if nasal breathing is impaired by congestion or another obstruction.

Keep wear periods conservative and allow the jaw to rest between sessions.

Do not force the barrel into the mouth or tighten the strap beyond what is needed to keep the gag securely positioned.

Maintain continuous supervision and make sure the wearer can communicate distress through an agreed non-verbal signal at all times.

Product Care & Hygiene

Clean the silicone gag before and after every use.

Wash the silicone barrel with warm water and mild, fragrance-free soap, then rinse thoroughly.

Wipe the faux leather-style strap with a soft damp cloth rather than soaking it.

Dry the metal hardware and strap carefully after cleaning.

Allow all components to air dry completely before storing.

Avoid bleach, harsh household cleaners, abrasive products and other cleaning solutions that may damage the silicone, strap or hardware.

Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture.

Inspect the strap, buckle, barrel and connection points before each use and discontinue use if you notice cracking, tearing, loose hardware or other deterioration.
