About the role

Working from the business’s Head Office at their warehouse / offices at Business Dr Narangba and reporting directly to the Be Daring General Manager this role is both varied and interesting. The role involves regular contact with all aspects of the adult products business so candidates should consider this before application.

This position ideally suits a marketing ‘generalist’ with a broad range of skills. A large corporation would employ at the least a marketer driving all the businesses marketing, social media staff, a graphic artist, a copy writer, and a data analyst. But as yet we are not a large corporation so are seeking someone with general skills across all these areas. Marketing staff are supported by the company graphic artists however the ability to prepare basic artwork is highly preferred. Much of the work involves content creation, preparing customer e-flyers, social media posts and writing product copy. An ability to prepare a marketing calendar of events and update the company’s marketing policy and procedure manual will also be required. The successful applicant will be supported by the executive management team with extensive experience in marketing. Marketing staff work from a reception desk at the company’s warehouse and will also be required to answer incoming sales queries and assist ‘click and collect’ customers.

Day to day responsibilities, but aren’t limited to the following:

  1. Collaborating with the executive to team to develop and execute the company’s marketing plan
  2. Collaborating with the executive team to prepare the company’s marketing calendar
  3. Preparing customer e-flyers for the companies three websites.
  4. Writing product copy.
  5. Driving social media campaigns
  6. Preparing artwork such as instore ticketing. The ability to prepare web artwork such as web banners would be highly regarded.
  7. Monitoring marketing results by collecting and interpreting marketing data.
  8. Fielding sales inquiries
  9. Some general office duties

The candidate of our dreams will be

  • A competent copy writer
  • Experience in a graphics suite is highly desirable and an ability to project manage the company’s graphic artist.
  • Experience in sales will be highly regarded
  • Highly disciplined, motivated, and organised with an ability to think outside the box.

  • High standard of personal presentation.
  • Team player.
  • Must be legally able to live and work in Australia.
  • A passion for the industry and our brand
  • Mature aged applicants are encouraged to apply.

Of course, the successful applicant will be trained in company specific procedures, but skill levels should be sufficient to ‘hit the ground running’. This role would suit e.g., a recent marketing graduate keen to embark on their career and grow with a developing company or perhaps you are already skilled and working in on one or more of these areas and looking for a new challenge.
