About the role
We are seeking an assistant store manager for our Chermside store to help lead and inspire a team of sales staff. This is a part-time position working mainly evenings and weekends. Whilst the successful applicant must have strong organisational and time management skills, they MUST be a natural salesperson.
The successful applicant must demonstrate an affinity for this industry and be prepared to test and review free sample product to gain an insight for sales and training purposes. We are looking for someone huge on initiative and who can clearly demonstrate this, someone who can prepare and drive initiatives and not just do a good job of maintaining the status quo.

Duties
Responsible to and under the supervision of the store manager, the assistant store manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations when they are rostered. This includes:
- Store Open / Close
- Sales
- Merchandising
- Marketing
- Staff supervision and coaching
- Stock control, receipt, transfer, stocktake and ordering.
- All necessary day to day operations.
Skills, Experience and Prerequisites
- MUST be aged 18yrs or older
- MUST be available to work any of Be Daring's trading hours.
- MUST have professional standards of personal presentation
- MUST have good computer skills & reasonable keyboard speed.
- MUST own a telephone.
- MUST have driver’s license and own vehicle (due to midnight trading)
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
- Previous merchandising experience preferred.
- Mature candidates are encouraged to apply.
