Director - Keith Boswell
Keith commenced his retail career in 1979 as a trainee manager with Coles Myer in the K-Mart Division. Keith worked for K-Mart for 13 years rising through the management ranks and going to on manage the K-Mart at Caboolture in 1989. Keith left K-Mart in 1992 to open the first BeDaring store at Caboolture in the same year. Married to Tracey, they have two children Ben and Jayme who have both worked for the company, with Jayme now a ‘Director in training’. Keith has taken a very proactive role in various lobbying positions over the 19 years working in the adult industry including positions as President of Eros Qld, Secretary of The Adult Retailers Assn (TARA) and is currently the National Secretary of Eros. Keith has been involved in numerous submissions to government and has met and lobbied numerous politicians in support of the Adult Industry.
Director - Tracey Boswell
Tracey also started her career with Coles Myer in 1981. Tracey held a number of retail positions including sales, merchandising, warehousing and administration before starting the BeDaring chain in 1992 with husband Keith. Along with husband Keith they have two children, Ben and Jayme who have both worked for the company. Jayme is currently employed as a ‘Director in training’.
Director in Training - Jayme Boswell
After successfully completing grade 12 in 2010, Jayme was single minded in her career aspirations. She wanted to start immediately working in the family business in order to one day take over the running of The BeDaring Group as CEO. Jayme commenced her training in a role as an assistant to the Administration Manager in 2010. Her responsibilities include wages, and general accounts as well administration. Jayme is currently completing a Certificate 4 in Book-Keeping and Accounting and will undertake numerous training courses and on the job experience in various positions in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of business and retailing.
Administration Manager – Evon Garrett
Evon has 16 years experience in many positions of Administration & Accounts. Evon’s career in administration has included many businesses and organisations with a diverse range of activities including; Aboriginal CDEP’s, vehicle import company, day care centre, neighbourhood centre, church, newsagency, and hotels.
Evon commenced her employment with BeDaring in September 2005 as a part-time Administration Assistant, and within days was recruited on a full-time basis. Evon was promoted to the role Accounts Manager in July 2007 and in October 2009, was promoted to her current role as BeDaring Administration Manager. Evon’s diverse role includes overseeing the accounts of four companies, staff rostering, wages and superannuation, staff induction and training as well as ordering company stationary and equipment,. Evon follows through company printing requirements and has the important role of preparing accounts reports as well as following up a steady stream of requests from directors.
